InnovationQ Plus launched as the only patent search and analytics tool with full-text IEEE content and a patented semantic search engine to derive comprehensive results and insights. Now, there is even more to help you discover and analyze patent and scientific literature to make critical business decisions.
In this exciting new release, a customized dashboard view has been introduced to the platform. Now users can get what is important, faster and in the way that matches their work style. Simply create and save a customized dashboard view of up to six charts from the Visuals feature for a snapshot summary of the data. Set it up to see top players and inventors, trends over time, technical categories via CPC/IPC, AI-driven concepts in the results, and more. This quick look, with a side-by-side presentation of meaningful information, might just give you that important “Aha!” moment that launches you to the next step.
This release also included new semantic map highlights that further extend capabilities. See the top players, prolific inventors, hot (and cold) technology areas, even additional applications to technology. Then use the highlights feature to dig into and better understand that area. Illuminate trends, opportunities, risks, anomalies, and more. All this happens before you have spent time reading a single document. The Semantic Map can be used with any content combination and type: patents, non-patent literature (NPL), or patents plus NPL. In addition to Ultimate Parent and Current Assignee, new highlight options include: Publication Year, Inventors, CPC/IPC subclasses and subgroups, and NPL Authors/Inventors and Affiliations.
Also, this release included new patent and non-patent literature. Now the database comprises of over 115 million patent documents from over 100 authorities. New pharmaceutical data has been added to view, search, and export. This includes drug brand names and active ingredients, linked to patent from the US FDA Orange Book and the Australian Register. Also, six new IEEE Xplore collections have been added, including: IBM Periodicals, Morgan & Claypool eBooks, NOW eBooks, URSI Periodicals, VDE Conferences, and a collection of periodicals from China.
Lastly, new search history capabilities have been added to the platform. Now InnovationQ Plus allows users to track and record searches with timestamps so users can pick up where they left off, easily step back to previous iterations, explore the history to see details of past searches, and projects, or create a report. This new search history records 1000 searches or searches from the last 30 days (whichever comes first).
